David Girardi- Blog 2

I grew up in Mahopac, New York; which is about an hour outside New York City. Although it is a large town, sidewalks and town provided transportation is few and far in-between and the main means of transportation is your car. When I arrived to Boston I am amazed with all the ways I could now get around with. I find today that I am still finding new ways to get around; a week or so ago I took the commuter rail for the first time to leave and come back into the city. Taking the T, walking around the city and now taking the commuter rail are new ways I am able to get around now that I was unable to before I lived in Boston.
