Zachary Philippe- Blog 2
I grew up in Concord, New Hampshire, an hour and a half north of Boston. Back home, the trees in the winter look beautiful, you can actually look up and look at the stars, and Fall is a season of beautiful colors and smells. The air you breathe is even refreshing. In relation to everything around you, Boston cannot compare in the cleanliness and serenity that Concord provides. However, Boston is still a fun city. Concord may be beautiful, but there isn't much to do. I learned fast that the Prudential is the "north star" of Boston; if you can get to the Prudential, you can get home. The many roads and journeys one can make in Boston make it exciting and relaxing to explore, weather by foot or by longboard. An essential way to get around that I learned fast is the T. Also when I first arrived, I used the dormitory at Northeastern to find my way back, but now that I've been here a while, I can go basically anywhere in Boston just based on the skyline.
