The buildings/projects that really interested me the most were the projects we discussed in the Americas lecture. To think that the ancient people were able to build these massive structures without the use of modern tools is very impressive. The motivation of pleasing their Gods was strong enough to drive them to build these massive complexes for years and years. Then to top it all off it was considered an honor to be sacrificed at these places. I found it incredible and even somewhat inspirational that these people were so devoted to their Gods that they spent their lives building these complexes and they did it with ancient tools.
