The ancient Stonehenge was one of the most interesting examples of architecture throughout time to me. I find it extremely fascinating that over the years the monument has been transformed by different groups of people to represent many different things. Architecture has always been transforming, and the stonehenge is a perfect and interesting example of the revolution of architecture. The arches that are formed by these huge boulders are massive and form rows of rings. It is amazing that nature such as rocks have been in the same location throughout so many years. The stonehenge is so mysterious when it comes to all the facts. What I liked about this class was that the history of architecture did not have to be only buildings but monuments and religious gathering locations.
