Nicole Wetherbee Blog Response #9-10

The lecture that interested me the most was the lecture about Egyptian pyramids. It is interesting how simplistic the pyramid looks from the exterior but how complex it looks in the interior. The interior of a pyramid is made up of many paths that act as a maze, in order to keep people from taking the relics of the kings and queens that were buried in the tombs. Its strange to think that there are actual cut outs inside the pyramids where people are buried. And most mastaba's are not in the actual pyramid, but located more underground and to the sides of the pyramid. Although there is not much to a triangular 3 sided structure, there is a lot to be learned from the Egyptian Pyramids.
