The Pantheon is an amazing building over in Rome. As we learned about the many buildings across time and how different cultures affected these buildings. The Pantheon was one of the most mentioned, because it influenced a countless amount of buildings even to this day. Il Duomo was influenced by the Pantheons dome, but it lead to some other system of being made after the shape was changed. Quincy Market in Boston, MA is the Pantheon replicated in the fron with an extended body to the dome. Buildings were not the only thing this colossal structure influenced. The Pantheon was so important that it was part of a important mission in the video game Assassin's Creed. Where you climb down through the oculus to attack a guard, that is one way to experience the building. The Pantheon has influenced buildings in D.C. and also in other parts of Europe. The Pantheon is a grandfather to many other buildings that followed or try to follow in it's example.
"It speaks of an even wider world than that of imperial Rome, and has left its stamp upon architecture more than any other building."
