The World Trade Center of Boston is reminiscent of the Arch of Trajan with the main arched opening and smaller opening on either side. The World Trade Center currently has banners hanging in all the openings which dramatically takes away from the effect of the building but you get the idea. This freestanding arch like the Arch of Trajan and is the entrance to a commercial plaza, which in Algeria would have ben the entrance into the Roman Forum. The nice thing about the Boston Arch is that although it appears to allow vehicular traffic though in the photograph it cuts off in a lot before the arch, which provides it with the same type of circulation as the Arch of Trajan.
