Even before I got to see the inside Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) you arrive at the steps of either side and notice the grand entrance that is the exact same as every other important building in America. Up off the ground with and even amount of columns that hold up the giant pendent. These buildings resembled the old Greek temples. I went to that section of the MFA to learn more about the lifestyle and architecture of their time as well as a follow up to the two Greek Lectures that we had. I truly began to notice that the way America is today has a lot to do with what the Greek society and Architecture came from. The Greek Ionic, Doric, and Corinthian columns are still used today in important and historic building in America. The White House entrance is similar to the MFA as well as the Temples during the Greek era. These supporting columns can be seen all over supporting the roof the population uses on a daily basis.
