Architecture : Form, Space, and Order, by Francis DK Ching, is a book that really inspires me architecturally. There is a lot of useful information dealing with the development of spaces and how to organize ideas in order to create a cohesive building. There are several images of structures around the world in addition to the text, so that you can really see how each building reflects certain ideas about forming spaces. I often find myself referencing this book because it gives you multiple examples of certain aspects of a structure, and helps you determine what kind of elements to include in your building.
