Nick Dyer- Blog 6
I tried thinking of all the books that I've read and I couldn't narrow it down. But when I thought about things that have inspired me it narrowed it down. I originally thought about Inception because the thought of being in a dreamscape where you have unlimited ability to just freely create from your imagination is very inspiring. It's the architects dream (no pun intended). But that's a movie not a book. So then i remembered this book that I came across last year. It's called "Exceptional Treehouses." This book is very inspiring because of the creativity and how these structures are solely based on how it can react to the environment. I highly doubt that I will be designing too many treehouses in my lifetime, but with all of my projects I believe it is crucial to design that my Architecture reacts and responds with it's environment. To see these structures that completely respond around such a natural environment is truly inspiring on how much a space can really respond to such a natural thing.
