Tyler Moriarty - Blog #5

The long corridor down the Prudential is a great example of how the structure affects the light that enters the space. The structure that is being used in the prudential center is used to help support the angular glass roof. On a nice sunny did the rhythmic pattern of the structure will effect the sunlight and create an interesting shadow pattern of the wall and floor that would be seen by the public walking through the space. This grand structure is expressed through out the Prudential Center allowing the shadows to be seen at different angles because of the direction the corridor is going in.
