“One if by land, two if by sea…the British are coming, the British are coming!” Okay, so we may not be as famous as the lanterns that helped warn the people of Boston that the British were coming, but we are known for lighting the steps of the Boston Public Library. Lighting is a key part of architecture and we not only light up the front façade of the BPL and making it inviting, but also allow people to see at night providing safety from what could be lurking in the dark. Whether we are famous or not we play an important role in the function of the BPL.
