The New Residence at the Swiss Embassy by Steven Holl is a complicated yet simple design in how the channel glass is connected to the building. The way the glass meets the floor and connects is through a simple H bracket that is within the floor. That clip is what holds the channel glass in place. Without this simple connection the whole building would not come together. When the glass comes in contact with the H bracket, the glass literally clips in and become sturdy holding it in place without any movement.
