Many people think that Godzilla only terrorized Japan. However, few people know that he came to Boston to start the filming of an American version of the Godzilla movies. In one part of the movie, Godzilla was supposed to pretend to take a chunk out of the MassArt dorms. Unfortuantley, Godzilla tripped and instead of pretending to take a chunk out of the building, he ripped right through the real building and left a massive, gaping hole in the corner. At first, everyone wanted to repair the building to it's former shape, but in the end everyone agreed to alter the shape of the building and put a glass box there instead as a reminder to never film Godzilla movies in America.
