Chris McEwen Blog Response 6

I’ve always found inspiration in Fight Club by Chuck Palhniuk. It’s not that it is masterpiece of creativity, but that it expands the mind. While designing you cannot simply place things wherever you want, but you must think about it. You must question anything and everything, as done in Fight Club, where it’s about questioning reality. If we do not pose questions, the idea of a working design is unachievable. As Architects we are forced to think differently, we aren’t here to settle for something easy. We must think things through and make logical sense of every aspect of a design. That’s why we must question everything.
