Gregory Gaffney #6

Arguably the finest series of books of our generation, I like most was completely caught in the Potter craze. The detail JK Rowling put in to describing the scenery like Hogwarts Castle struck my imagination. The ideas of the Moving Stairs and the Room of Requirement were so unique and captivating. Between the fantasy ideas of castles and the logical inventiveness of moving stairs and hidden rooms, these details really caught my attention. Still today whenever I feel stuck in studio I read a bit of any one of these books to help get the inventiveness flowing.

  1. While perhaps interesting, this book is written for a junior high reading level. Fiction is wonderful...try Murakami, Calvino or Borges for magical realism that may be a bit more challenging.
