Kacy Cunningham: Blog Response 6

Growing up I loved to read books of fantasy involving wizards, vampires, hobbits, and dragons. Books like The Chronicles of Narnia especially interested me because they made a world within our world that you could actually let yourself believe in. Books like these kept my imagination and creativity alive long after childhood and influenced me into choosing a creative field. When picking a major I really only had one criteria: it had to let me be creative, to use my hands and imagination to actually make something. Books like these not only inspired me into Architecture, but also help keep me grounded. They remind me to relax, take a breather, and most importantly to take a quick peep into any wardrobe I might run into.
