The T station at the end of the red line (Alewife) is one of the coolest T-stations in my opinion. The massive metal and glass structure really gets light into the deep part of the lower levels. The structure has a direct relationship with the light coming into the space and it plays a huge role in how the interior space is lit. The same goes for the structure at Faneuil Hall where there is a glass enclosed steel member structure to diffuse light and keep people out of the weather.
