When I was younger I always like building things and drawing. When I was 12, my grandma bought me Francis Ching's,
Architectural Graphics. This is the first time I really looked at Architecture, and from there, I was really interested (obviously). So as I looked and looked at the basic principles of Architecture, I decided it's what I wanted to go to school for, so then I began to take classes in high school that related to the field. My interest from there only grew stronger. Now in college, I still hang onto this book because it always takes me back to when I was 12 walking through borders with my grandma. It may have a couple beaten edges and a lot of Kool-Aid spilt on it (long story, feel free to ask), but it is still a stepping stone that made me the Architect I am and will become in the future.
