A few nights ago as I was walking around the Boston Commons I passed by an apartment building with this over hang over the entrance. During the day the overhang works as a structure that protects the people passing from the elements and the structure is not very easily spotted within the glass enclosure. However once the lights inside of it come on the structure becomes apparent and drags attention to the entrance.
